God's Perfume

From
all peoples,
flowers are gathered
for God's signature perfume:
some God chooses are buds not yet open;
others are old, often overlooked by ‘man’.
Truly amazing? It's the pale, crushed or
broken flowers our Savior picks first, not last:
carefully chosen, some tenderly pressed,
God’s heavenly bouquet
cannot be copied,
nor surpassed.
